PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This project is the integration of Financial Focus with the APSNet case management system and includes enhancements such as modifications to file processing, electronic funds transfer, and overpayment module. This project includes necessary technological upgrades to ensure the system can run on new platforms.

TASK & DUTIES:

• Develop system documentation
• • Develop guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases, hardware systems, operating systems software, network systems software, security, and client server systems.• Perform Testing/Evaluation
• Develops, implements, and monitors information technology quality assurance standards.• Performs queries against the database to ensure integrity of data.
• Analyzes and diagrams accounting and financial entries.
• Conducts meetings with bank representatives, program area accountants, auditors, and technical staff.• Perform System Design/Programming
• Work with ITS staff (e.g., managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program implementation, enhancements, and changes
• Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms
• Occasionally contact customers as may be needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem
• Recommend business process flow improvements and clearly communicate problem/resolution process to project management.
• See out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Provide progress document to upper management, using change management tools such as Service now and Jira, maintain program in different environments
• Develop, improve, implement, and maintain databases, enabling administrators and users to update, retrieve, arrange, or delete data within databases
• Provide general programming assistance to other ITS programmers/projects as may be needed.
• Assist ITS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves
• Create, test, and maintain programs
• Tasks
• Recommends technical solution for payments, changes to accounting processes and compliance with security and accounting guidelines.
• Provides subject matter expertise on changes to the accounting system to ensure integrity of data and design.
• Performs analysis of financial system and informs design/architecture.
• Maintains version control and understands concepts of Continuous Integration.
• Tests programs and systems and integrates system modules
• Develop detailed systems operations designs.
• Develops operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation
• Technical and user documentation, software conversions
• Exposure to environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, laptops
• Lead in the design of financial systems.
• Designing 3 tiered applications
• .Net Framework including VB .Net, ASP.NET, Experience with ADO.NET, VB6, Java Script, XML, WEB Service, VBScript, C#, Object oriented concepts and technologies
