About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Medical-Surgical Unit – Tennessee

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three full 12-hour shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period; self-scheduling available; 48-hour guarantee accepted

Highlights:

• 30-bed cardiac medical-surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratio and dedicated charge nurse support
• Telemetry experience with cardiac drip management including Cardizem, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone
• Meditech documentation system with GE telemetry equipment and portable workstations
• Award-winning unit recognized as highest scoring inpatient med-surg unit for employee satisfaction
• Supportive staffing model includes unit secretary on day shift and 3 PCTs per shift
• 12-lead EKG capabilities available on unit

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Medical-surgical experience with cardiac/telemetry knowledge
• Strong EKG and cardiac rhythm identification skills
• Experience with cardiac medications and drip management preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
