Job Title: Reauthorization Representative

Pay Rate: $22–$28/hr (W2)

Job Type: Temporary (Possible Extension)

Location: Edison, NJ 08837 (Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Reauthorization Representative to join our team in Edison, NJ 08837. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining authorizations for continued patient care and acting as a key liaison between insurance providers, physicians, internal departments, and patients. This is a vital position that requires strong communication skills, excellent follow-through, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate authorization status to internal teams, physicians, and patients.
\n
• Prepare Financial Obligation Notifications (FOBs) and update them as needed.
\n
• Update systems with changes to insurance plans or benefits; collect co-insurance payments.
\n
• Process rejections from Part D payers and investigate reimbursement issues.
\n
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve payment or insurance claim concerns.
\n
• Perform insurance verification and general intake functions.
\n
• Answer and route phone calls professionally.
\n
• Greet and direct visitors, ensuring a welcoming office environment.
\n
• Maintain office equipment and supply inventory.
\n
• Support department managers with administrative functions and project coordination.
\n
• Assist with record-keeping and medical documentation as needed.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• High school diploma or GED required.
\n
• 1–2 years of experience in authorizations, intake, and eligibility.
\n
• Previous experience in home health, home infusion, or a related medical field is strongly preferred.
\n
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
\n
• Comfortable interacting with insurance companies, healthcare professionals, and patients.
