Position Snapshot Location: Must reside in McCook, NE / Red Willow County (Must own or rent your current home) Supporting: You are welcoming an individual with an intellectual disability to move into your home and live with you full-time as a part of your household and family dynamic Average Annual Income: Approximately $71,800 (federally tax-free) + Monthly Rent & Household Expenses Contribution Work from Home Opportunity Ongoing Training & Team Support About This Opportunity You're not just opening your home. How You'll Make a Difference Every individual is unique, but your responsibilities may include: Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and decision-making. Assisting with medication administration and medical appointments. Helping someone build connections, participate in their community, and experience a sense of belonging. Providing transportation and support with daily activities as needed. Maintaining documentation and communication with the Mosaic support team. Helping someone build confidence, develop independence, and pursue personal goals. Depending on the individual's needs, support may also include: Assistance with personal care activities Behavioral support Medical or physical support needs Specialized care and monitoring What Mosaic Provides Because creating belonging starts with having the right support around you, here's a look at what you can expect: Initial and ongoing training Dedicated support from an experienced team Resources and guidance throughout the matching process Assistance with licensing and program requirements Ongoing partnership and support Requirements Must be at least 19 years of age You must be a current resident of the state of Nebraska (due to state funding restrictions). Own/Rent your own home, apartment, condo, or townhouse Active homeowner's or renter's insurance Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance Internet access and basic computer skills Ability to complete required screenings, background checks, and training Experience is preferred but not required.
