At Renewal Memory Partners , we believe that experience, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping others are the foundation of exceptional care. We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Male Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide overnight support to a client living with dementia.
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Shift: Overnight, 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Sunday; flexibility and availability are highly valued
ResponsibilitiesProvide compassionate, hands-on care and companionship
Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
Support clients who may be bed-bound or wheelchair-bound
Assist with safe transfers and mobility
Monitor and respond appropriately to the client's needs throughout the overnight shift
Provide dementia-friendly, patient, and respectful care
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Communicate professionally with the care team and family members
Valid New York State HHA Certificate
Male HHA preferred for this position
Experience caring for bed-bound or wheelchair-bound clients
Experience assisting with transfers
Hoyer lift experience is a strong plus
Prior experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care preferred
Kind, patient, empathetic, and dependable
Reliable and professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain a high level of attentiveness
