Respiratory Therapist - NICU & Critical Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights; 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with two weekends in each four-week schedule. Expected weekly hours are 36.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist experienced in both adult and pediatric critical care, including recent NICU experience. The role involves working with advanced respiratory equipment and providing exceptional care to patients in a dynamic medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high standards of care in critical situations.
• Utilize Draeger ventilators and BiPAP equipment effectively.
• Document patient information and care using EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Pennsylvania (PA RT license).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working with critically ill adults and pediatric patients, with recent NICU exposure.
