Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3+ years of cloud experience Hands-on experience with two or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go Experience developing Java-based application programming interfaces (APIs) and event-driven applications to optimize back-end performance Strong background in relational databases Experience working with AWS services such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPCs, Security Groups, and ELB Extensive knowledge of Docker containers, with the ability to implement containerization from scratch Proficiency in CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins for deploying application Docker containers in production and non-production environments Experience working with AWS EKS, RDS, and other AWS infrastructure components for deploying applications and managing containerized interactions Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure ARM templates) Familiarity with event-driven microservice architecture Experience with test automation frameworks Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology Skills You Bring: Customer-obsessed mindset Ability to collaborate across the company Communicates clearly and fosters candid debate Balances speed with quality in decision-making Coaches and empowers others to achieve their full potential Takes ownership of outcomes and drives innovation Thinks critically, embraces curiosity, and experiments to learn Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Architect certification Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Experience with Consumer-Driven Contract Testing (PACT, etc.) Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS and front-end languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS PeopleServe
