Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN)-Weekend Department: Nursing Employment Type: Flexible Location: Doctors Subacute Healthcare + Rehab Description Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) Collaborates with all charge nurses daily, to exchange information regarding resident care, resident condition and all matters affecting resident well-being (i.e. admissions, discharges, transfers, out of or within the building), makes recommendations regarding nursing process, and communicates concerns to supervisors of other departments; Makes rounds, morning and night, as time allows, to assess residents condition, giving special attention to critically ill residents; Ensures that the individual nursing care plan is followed for each resident; Performs medication passes and/or direct resident care as needed; Reinforces the training and orientation of nursing personnel and provides positive reinforcement; Answers any/all emergencies throughout the shift; Assists in assuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, employees, and visitors; Reviews incident and investigative reports for accuracy and completeness; Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere; Performs other duties as requested. Nursing and Management experience required Must be an RN or LPN graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required.
