• Operate laundry equipment and machinery such as commercial washers, dryers, and ironing or pressing machines, following safety and sanitation guidelines
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, clothing, and other textiles, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and stain treatmen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including laundry rooms, storage areas, and equipment, and ensure supplies are adequately stocked
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damages, or wear and report issues to supervisors
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and adherence to facility policies
• Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned to meet the facility’s laundry service demands

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not always required
• Experience: Prior experience in laundry, cleaning, or dry cleaning is advantageous but not essential
• Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, teamwork, and basic knowledge of laundry care and equipment operation
• EducationHigh School Diploma/GED
