About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Physician Assistant for a locum opportunity in Monroeville, Pennsylvania , supporting a Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery team. This role includes a mix of inpatient hospital coverage, surgical/OR responsibilities, and outpatient clinic care , providing comprehensive perioperative and post-operative management of CV and CT surgery patients.

The provider will assist with cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical cases , manage inpatient consults, rounding, and support outpatient follow-ups in a collaborative surgical environment. This position offers exposure to a high-acuity patient population within both hospital and clinic settings.

Shift Timings:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch included)
• 5 days per week
• 4 days inpatient/surgery
• 1 day outpatient clinic
• 8-hour shifts

Requirements

• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active Pennsylvania State License
• Active DEA License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
