QUA Dining is seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our Front-of-House team.

Our Bartenders are responsible for creating quality beverages while also providing attentive and knowledgeable service to guests. This position requires someone who is comfortable working behind the bar, interacting directly with guests, handling food and beverage service, and supporting the restaurant during busy service periods.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, and guest requests.
• Take beverage orders from guests seated at the bar, assigned tables, and restaurant team members.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of liquor, wine, beer, cocktails, and other beverage offerings.
• Verify guest identification and follow all applicable alcohol service and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) requirements.
• Prepare garnishes, bar ingredients, and other items needed for beverage service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitized, and visually appealing bar throughout the shift.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store bar glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Restock liquor, beverages, glassware, garnishes, and other bar supplies as needed.
• Monitor bar inventory and communicate low-stock items or supply needs to management.
• Report equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout their dining experience.
• Build positive relationships with guests and recognize returning guests whenever possible.
• Present food and beverage menus and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately from guests seated at the bar and assigned tables.
• Enter all orders accurately and promptly into the point-of-sale ( POS ) system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining QUA's service standards.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to additional requests.
• Process guest payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.
• Clear, clean, and reset the bar and assigned tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, management, and other Front-of-House team members to ensure smooth service.
• Support fellow team members during high-volume periods and assist with additional restaurant duties as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies.
• Perform opening, closing, side-work, and other duties assigned by management.

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, cocktails, and common drink preparations
• Previous restaurant or guest-service experience preferred
• Strong communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to provide efficient and attentive service in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Comfortable handling both bartending and guest/table service responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and sanitation
• Ability to accurately operate a POS system and process payments
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler Card (Training will be provided by company, if needed)
• Must meet applicable Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) requirements
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
