Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Lead with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM), particularly within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in PeopleSoft application development, customization, system integrations, reporting, and technical solution design. This role requires a strong technical background in PeopleTools, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and third-party procurement platform integrations, including Jaggaer, Coupa, and SAP Ariba.

The consultant will be responsible for leading technical development activities, designing and implementing complex integrations, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with functional and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Prior experience integrating Jaggaer with PeopleSoft FSCM is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

PeopleSoft FSCM Development & Technical Leadership

• Lead the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and post-production support of PeopleSoft FSCM applications.
• Design, develop, customize, and enhance PeopleSoft Financials and Procure-to-Pay applications to meet business requirements.
• Develop technical solutions using PeopleTools 8.5x, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, File Layouts, and PeopleSoft Query.
• Translate complex functional and business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and enforce PeopleSoft development standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & Third-Party Integrations

• Design, develop, and support integrations between PeopleSoft FSCM and external procurement platforms such as Jaggaer, Coupa, and SAP Ariba .
• Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay business processes, including purchasing, requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and accounts payable.
• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, Application Engine, and File Layouts.
• Build and support file-based, batch, and real-time integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, XML, and other integration technologies.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, resolve data synchronization issues, and ensure reliable communication between PeopleSoft and external systems.
• Collaborate with functional teams and third-party vendors to define integration requirements, mapping specifications, and data transformation logic.
• Support integration testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

Reporting & Application Enhancements

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain reports using BI Publisher, SQR, PeopleSoft Query, and Crystal Reports.
• Develop and enhance Application Engine programs, batch processes, interfaces, and custom PeopleSoft components.
• Optimize existing reports, interfaces, and application processes to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
• Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across PeopleSoft Financials and procurement applications.

Project Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, project managers, and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
• Lead technical workstreams and coordinate development activities across multiple projects.
• Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
• Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, deployment documentation, and support procedures.
• Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Strong professional experience in PeopleSoft FSCM technical development, implementation, and support .
• Advanced hands-on expertise with PeopleTools 8.5x , including:
• PeopleCode
• Application Designer
• Application Engine
• Integration Broker
• Component Interfaces
• File Layouts
• PeopleSoft Query
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials and Procure-to-Pay business processes.
• Proven experience developing and supporting integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party procurement applications.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and file-based integrations.
• Strong technical development experience within PeopleSoft Financials and P2P modules.
• Experience developing and customizing reports using BI Publisher, SQR, PS Query, and Crystal Reports.
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver complex enhancements.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience serving as a Technical Lead on multiple PeopleSoft development or implementation projects .
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and provide guidance to development teams.
• Experience working across multiple stages of the project lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience integrating Jaggaer with PeopleSoft FSCM is strongly preferred.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft with Coupa or SAP Ariba.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, accounts payable, and procurement workflows.
• Experience supporting large-scale PeopleSoft Financials implementations, upgrades, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple third-party integrations.
• Ability to work independently, lead technical discussions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
