Plant Manager

Ezurio Irvine California Operations ManagerDirects and controls the overall activities of Ezurio's Irvine California operations. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, implementing and maintaining cost controls, and methods. Additional responsibilities include the safe production of products that meet the customer's requirements for quality and quantity. This role has responsibility for the site's warehouse, quality, end of line testing, planning, and SMT operations. This role is onsite located in Irvine, CA. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for plant safety performance and setting the safety cultureContinually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areasResponsible for plant quality and setting a quality cultureResponsible for Lean implementation and setting a Lean cultureResponsible for plant P&LManage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volumePlan, organize and direct the manufacturing and operations team to best ensure the most effective return on assetsEstablish plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capitalResponsible for establishing all shift production schedulesFoster a well-trained and motivated staffConduct employee performance reviews, guide, mentor, and coach direct reportsConfer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shippingEstablish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on needManages customer relations as well as new business development strategies and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimatesImplements policies and procedures to meet customer expectations for On-Time-DeliveryImprove manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Experience in lieu of education may be consideredMinimum of 10 +years of Plant Management experience in high volume high mixChange Management experienceP/L ownership and financial literacy requiredProject Management experienceCIP leadership experience utilizing Lean & Six Sigma methods
