Industrial Project Management Permanent Full - TimeWhat You Can Expect As a Project Manager within ENGIE North America's Performance & Reliability organization, you will be responsible for leading the execution of performance-driven projects across the operating fleet, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage assets. These projects include testing campaigns, equipment upgrades, retrofits, monitoring improvements, and other initiatives aimed at improving asset performance, reliability, and operational visibility. This role serves as the central coordinator between Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, ROCC, and external vendors to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within scope. You will be responsible for managing schedules, resources, procurement, and stakeholder alignment to successfully deliver projects from initiation through completion.Reporting to the Director of Performance & Reliability, your primary duties encompass:Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for performance and reliability initiatives across the fleetCoordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Asset Management, ROCC) to execute projects and resolve issuesManage execution of projects, including testing campaigns, equipment upgrades, retrofits, and monitoring/diagnostics developmentLead procurement and vendor coordination, including scope definition, bid evaluation, and contractor oversightTrack project progress, risks, and dependencies, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadershipTranslate technical findings (e.g., RCA outputs, performance analytics, site issues) into actionable project scopes and execution plansEnsure projects are executed in compliance with safety standards, internal processes, and contractual requirementsInterface with OEMs and third-party vendors to implement corrective actions and support equipment-related resolutionsMonitor and report on project outcomes, including impact on performance, reliability, and operational visibilityWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)Minimum five (5) years of experience managing projects in power generation, renewables, or industrial environments, preferably within solar, wind, or battery energy storage systems (BESS)Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionUnderstanding of power plant equipment, performance drivers, and operational considerations across solar, wind, and/or BESS assetsProven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, asset management, and external vendorsFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Agile, or similar)Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and project-related information across diverse audiencesAbility to analyze data and translate technical findings (e.g., performance analysis, RCA outputs) into actionable project scopesExperience working with OEMs, contractors, and third-party service providers, including contract execution and vendor managementPMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferredBe an action-oriented, self-motivator individual who can lead a team, work independently, and has strong organizational and personal skillsAbility to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with a high degree of accuracyProficient in MS OFFICE, Excel, Word, Project Management systemsAdditional DetailsThis role is eligible for our hybrid work policyMust be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight tripsMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensation Salary Range: $102,000 - $156,400 USD annuallyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
