What You’ll Do

• Assist Infusion & Specialty pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations
• Retrieve, count, pour, label, and reconstitute prescription medications
• Prepare accurate prescription labels and maintain complete documentation
• Enter and retrieve information in pharmacy systems to maintain accurate records
• Maintain patient and client profiles
• Request refill authorizations from prescribers
• Process and prepare third-party insurance claims
• Communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and insurance providers
• Support pharmacy inventory management and related reporting
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant pharmacy workflow

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Texas
• IV certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read and transcribe pharmaceutical information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy management systems
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pharmacy management software such as WellSky CareTend and/or CPR+
• Experience with prescription processing, claims, and inventory workflows
• Bilingual skills are a plus, especially Spanish, Arabic, French, Vietnamese, Hindi, Gujarati, or Urdu

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to sit intermittently throughout the day
• Ability to bend, reach, climb, and squat frequently
• Ability to type and use a computer regularly
• Ability to speak on the telephone
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 40 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
