About the Role

The Company is seeking a new Head of School to lead its vibrant educational community. The successful candidate will be the chief executive, responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and long-term vitality of the institution. Key responsibilities include strategic vision development, academic program oversight, enrollment management, staff recruitment and development, and fostering strong relationships with families and the broader community. Applicants for the Head of School position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and significant leadership experience in an independent school, Montessori setting, or a comparable educational or mission-driven organization. While a Montessori credential is valued, it is not required; a deep understanding and commitment to Montessori philosophy is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in organizational management, strategic planning, and a strong background in financial management and resource development. They must be adept at building and maintaining relationships, both within the school community and with external stakeholders. The role requires a leader with high emotional intelligence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to balance empathy with accountability.
