Part Time Cook

Job Description

We are seeking a Part Time Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Prepare daily menu items
Follow standard recipes and be able to adjust
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Be able to read and write in English and document daily usage
Performs additonal duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Likes to cook and has previous experience
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in teams
Be able to learn all stations
Be flexible
Be able to attain the Idaho Food Handlers Certificate and/or Professional Food Managers Certificate

We are a non-profit organization that serves a balanced lunch to approximately 85-90 people Monday thru Friday and are open to the public. We strongly encourage comraderie, health, and fun.
