We are seeking a Part Time Cook to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily menu items
- Follow standard recipes and be able to adjust
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
- Be able to read and write in English and document daily usage
- Performs additonal duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Likes to cook and has previous experience
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in teams
- Be able to learn all stations
- Be flexible
- Be able to attain the Idaho Food Handlers Certificate and/or Professional Food Managers Certificate
We are a non-profit organization that serves a balanced lunch to approximately 85-90 people Monday thru Friday and are open to the public. We strongly encourage comraderie, health, and fun.
