Corporate Controller (Multi-Entity Accounting Leadership) Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting across a multi-entity organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee location-level Controllers, own the audit process, and drive consistency in accounting policies, controls, and reporting.
This is a high-impact opportunity to build and standardize processes, strengthen internal controls, and support a growing, acquisition-driven business.
LocationWilkes-Barre, PA (Onsite; some travel required)
Target Compensation $150,000-$175,000, up to 20% bonus Key Responsibilities- Own consolidated GAAP financial statements and reporting accuracy
- Lead and standardize the monthly close process across entities
- Oversee external audit and serve as primary auditor contact
- Establish and enforce consistent accounting policies and controls
- Supervise and develop plant/location Controllers
- Strengthen internal controls and cash management processes
- Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams on reporting and insights
- Evaluate and improve ERP systems and chart of accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- CPA required (active preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with labor burden rates.
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location financials
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
- Experience leading external audits and internal controls
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, or services environments
- Experience standardizing accounting processes across entities
- ERP implementations or system integrations
- Exposure to lender reporting or leveraged environments
