As a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE with Aspirus Ironwood Hospital & Clinics you provide basic nursing care, assist with collection of patient data and developing care plans. Experience/Qualifications/Licensure Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited LPN program. Previous work experience in an acute care setting or nursing home beneficial. Active Michigan Practical Nurse License. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. For Home Health & Hospice: Valid driver's license required. Possesses automobile liability insurance with minimum $100,000/$300,000 coverage required, or $300,000 combined single-limit liability. Opportunities may be currently available in the following nursing areas: Acute Care Unit Birthing Center Emergency Room Med Surg ICU Routine Patient Care Surgery Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood’s service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day.
