Overview Title: Physician Hospitalist – Southwest MichiganLocation: BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital (Kalamazoo & Battle Creek, MI) Position Highlights Coverage for both hospitals on a rotating schedule of days, weekends, and nights Weekends required Hospital‑employed full‑time with flexible scheduling Opportunity to round with residents through affiliation with Western Michigan Medical School Participation in committees and quality improvement initiatives Responsibilities Diagnose illnesses and prescribe appropriate treatments for hospitalized patients Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies Provide patient counseling on preventive care, hygiene, nutrition, and medication adherence Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all services Collaborate with medical director, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on patient care Participate in process improvement, continuing education, and patient care programs Assist in resolving patient complaints and inquiries while maintaining confidentiality Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine Prior completion of a residency in Internal Medicine Current and unrestricted Michigan State Medical License (MD/DO) DEA licensure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care Benefits Supportive and collaborative workplace culture Competitive compensation with annual quality incentives Comprehensive benefits package Relocation assistance, CME stipend and sign‑on bonus Interested candidates should email a CV to hilary.wade at bronsonhg.org. #J-18808-Ljbffr
