Painter / General Laborer

This role combines painting and general labor duties within a busy plant environment. You will support the full-time labor team by preparing and painting interior walls and performing a variety of maintenance and odd jobs as needed. The position is ideal for someone with at least one year of painting experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in delivering clean, consistent results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint interior walls throughout the plant using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Support full-time labor staff with general building and facilities maintenance tasks.
• Perform odds and ends as needed, including basic repairs and upkeep around the facility.
• Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds safely and efficiently.
• Use small step stools or ladders comfortably to reach higher areas for painting and maintenance.
• Assist with paint preparation, including surface cleaning, taping, and mixing paint as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
• Follow safety guidelines and plant procedures while working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Shift: 1st

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr

Qualifications

• Must have experience with painting
• Must be able to read a tape measure

This is a contract position based out of Britton, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
