Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic assessments, and create tailored care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, working collaboratively with physicians or autonomously as your credentials allow
• Deliver education to patients and families about prevention, wellness, and managing various health conditions
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with state laws
• Engage in follow-ups and manage chronic care programs
• Work cohesively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health records (EHR)

Education Background Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability of obtaining within 90 days)
