We find it immensely satisfying to develop products that impact the lives of millions, and we are eager to have you join our team.This position requires you to be in our San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.What You'll Be DoingWork with a team of talented engineers, both starting projects from scratch and also working within the existing code baseBuild the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI for our productsDrive the development process for your team, including design, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuningProvide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess new platforms and technologies for project implementationsCollaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams to design and release amazing productsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of experience in software engineeringBachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineExcellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languageStrong communication skillsPassion for improving education through technologyThe base salary range for this full-time position is $116,000 to $150,000 + equity + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
