Role Description The College Financial Representative Internship is an on-site role based in Jacksonville, FL. Interns work alongside experienced financial professionals to learn how to build client relationships, conduct financial analyses, and develop personalized financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospects and clients under supervision, gathering and analyzing financial data, and recommending solutions that address insurance, investments, and retirement needs. Interns also participate in training sessions, role plays, and mentoring activities, while engaging in local networking and marketing efforts to grow their professional presence. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in financial services, client communication, and professional development. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational knowledge and interest in Finance and Investments to support client portfolio discussions and basic analysis. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help create long-term strategies under guidance. Candidates should possess an understanding of Insurance solutions, including life and disability income, to support comprehensive financial recommendations. Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and professionally. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a results-driven environment with mentorship and coaching. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
