Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of OR specialties, excluding open heart procedures
• Must be able to both Circulate and Scrub in the operating room
• Participate in on-call coverage approximately 2 times per schedule block
• Clinicians are expected to work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's), as needed based on unit requirements
• Document patient care using the EPIC charting system
• Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or a Compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care Operating Room experience
• BLS certification required
• Must be able to both Circulate and Scrub; skills checklist for both required at submission
• Robotic and ENT OR experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic, Vascular, General, Thoracic, and Neuro OR specialties required
• At least 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
