Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to lead customer discovery and product research for an enterprise B2B software platform. The organization is rebuilding its commercial real estate product on a modern technology stack while introducing AI-powered agents to improve and automate customer workflows.

This role will work closely with enterprise customers to understand their needs, workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes, translating research findings into actionable opportunities for Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) workshops with enterprise customers.
• Conduct customer interviews and discovery sessions to understand workflows, pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities.
• Synthesize qualitative research across multiple customers into clear insights, themes, and product opportunities .
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations that Product and Engineering teams can build against.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering throughout the discovery and development lifecycle.
• Validate proposed product concepts against actual customer research and discovery findings.
• Facilitate solution-validation sessions with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Clearly communicate research findings and help stakeholders make informed product decisions.
• Quickly develop an understanding of unfamiliar business domains and deliver meaningful insights within short research cycles.
• Help establish and evolve user-research practices as part of a growing research function.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in User Research, UX Research, Product Research, or Product Discovery within enterprise B2B software/SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated track record of conducting customer discovery that resulted in product decisions and shipped solutions .
• Strong experience conducting customer interviews and facilitating workshops .
• Experience with Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) or similar structured product-discovery methodologies.
• Strong qualitative research, synthesis, and insight-generation skills.
• Ability to identify patterns across multiple customer conversations and translate them into actionable product opportunities.
• Experience collaborating directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering teams .
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand complex or unfamiliar domains and operate effectively in short discovery cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with enterprise SaaS products undergoing modernization or transformation.
• Exposure to AI-enabled products, AI agents, workflow automation, or emerging AI capabilities .
• Experience conducting research with enterprise customers and senior business stakeholders.
• Commercial real estate, PropTech, or related domain exposure is a plus, but not required .
