Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic – Full Time
Cam Fleet Care is growing and looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team full-time. If you take pride in quality work, strong diagnostics, and keeping fleets on the road, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, buses, and fleet vehicles
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on ECM systems and electrical components experience with Diesel software, Paccar and Cummins.
- Repair and maintain brake chambers, suspension systems, and drivetrain components
- Diagnose issues with sensors, wiring, and electrical systems
- Service and maintain trailers including reefer units (preferred experience)
- Perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime for our customers
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced diesel mechanic (heavy-duty preferred)
- Strong background in ECM diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- DOT certification (or ability to obtain)
- Reefer experience preferred
- Bus experience is a plus
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- 10 hour days – 4 on and 3 off, needing availability to incorporate a Sunday
