Transporter/Driver/GB
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center
Provide non-emergency transportation of patients and assume responsibility for various errands.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- High school diploma or equivalency degree and good communication skills.
- Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- Must hold a current valid driver's license as required by the state and have an excellent driving record as verified by the state Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Must satisfactorily complete CPR and first-aid training provided by Glenbeigh or provide certificate indicating prior successful completion of such training.
- Hearing and vision abilities within normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with patients.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and position patients frequently.
- Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending.
- Potential exposure to injuries and illness
- Frequent need to handle emergency or crisis situations
- Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
- Potential exposure to the risk of blood borne diseases.
