NEW Full Time | Part Time $16.00 - $29.00/hr* Part time Shift may start between 8:00am - 11:00am Shift may start between 1:00pm - 4:00pm Role summary Front End Checkout associates run our registers. They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. They are always ready to help with customer questions and needs, and may need to stand for long periods of time. What you’ll do You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You may be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You must juggle several tasks while helping customers: scan items, explain a price, bag items properly, count cash back, and keep your area clean. This role requires a positive, multitasking individual with a passion for customer service. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
