Assistance with all medical aspects of the student's day expected.Students need assistance with areas of daily living skills which may include, but are not limited to; toileting, personal care, feeding, maintaining safety during transitions, redirection, task initiation, communication, interacting with others and supervision for sensory activities and routines.Students require daily tube feedingStudents need constant monitoring during and after feedingRegular assessment of respiratory needsThe employee must possess a valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse license and be physically able and willing to meet the needs of the students.Dispensing medications, under direction of R.N.Completing Medicaid paperwork, under the direction of R.N.Assist with student arrival and departureHelp students carry out prescribed physical exercisesHelps student with daily living skills/hygieneFollows medical protocolOther duties as assigned.
