The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, organized, and comfortable operating a 26-foot box truck.The typical schedule is 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; however, start times may vary based on operational and delivery needs. Flexibility is essential.What You'll DoDriving & Delivery OperationsSafely operate company vehicles, including 26-foot box trucksTransport HVAC, plumbing, and construction materials to designated project sitesFollow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely serviceCommunicate effectively with dispatch, field teams, and office personnelMaintain accurate delivery, mileage, and vehicle recordsMaterial Handling & Vehicle SafetyLoad and unload materials safely and efficientlyProperly secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transportPerform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsReport vehicle maintenance needs, safety concerns, or delivery issues promptlyFollow all DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety proceduresWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experienceExperience safely operating a 26-foot box truckValid driver's license with a clean driving recordDOT medical certification or willingness to obtain oneCDL preferred but not requiredAbility to lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.Strong commitment to safety and proper material handlingDependable, punctual, and able to work independentlyStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsFlexibility to accommodate changing start times and delivery schedulesAbility to travel throughout the DMV and surrounding areasWhy Join VMG?VMG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Competitive base payPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401(k) retirement planOpportunities for professional development and career growth
