Job Description:

The registered nurse will work across the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Medical Surgical units providing care to patients of all ages with various conditions including sepsis, DKA, ETOH, ARDS, MI, trauma, and stroke.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department, ICU, and Med Surg areas.
• Utilize skills in trauma and critical care to handle ICU holds and other emergency situations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience; travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS; NIHSS and CPI preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) as approved by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and ability to float between departments if trained.
