Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist near Olympia, WA. This assignment will provide essential services to PreK and K-4 students, covering a leave of absence for the current school year. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working within schools, especially with PreK and K-4 age groups, strongly preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication abilities with educators, staff, and families
• Understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, and progress tracking

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in PreK through 4th grade
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations according to district protocols
• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reports in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Participate in team and IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations as needed
• Communicate effectively with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers
