Fleet Manager

Location: Denver, CO 80238 Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday (Some evenings and weekends may be required based on operational needs) Salary: $60,000 Per Year Position Overview Citadel Security USA is seeking a highly organized Fleet Operations Manager to assess the daily administration, maintenance, and performance of the company's vehicle fleet. This position is responsible for coordinating vehicle availability, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing maintenance programs, and supporting operational readiness across multiple locations. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing commercial fleets, maintaining accurate records, coordinating vendors, and improving fleet efficiency while supporting a fast-paced security operation. Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations Coordinate daily fleet scheduling to ensure vehicles are available for operational requirements. Monitor vehicle assignments and driver availability to support efficient transportation services. Maintain accurate fleet records, including registrations, inspections, maintenance history, and mileage. Track fleet utilization and recommend improvements to maximize vehicle availability. Maintenance & Vehicle Readiness Schedule preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine servicing. Coordinate vehicle repairs with approved vendors and service providers. Verify that all fleet vehicles meet company safety standards before deployment. Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure fleet operations comply with DOT, OSHA, state, and local transportation regulations. Maintain required documentation related to inspections, licensing, insurance, and vehicle compliance. Assist with vehicle accident reporting, repairs, and follow-up documentation. Support internal audits related to fleet safety and operational compliance. Fleet Analytics & Cost Control Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and operational costs. Utilize GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management software to improve efficiency. Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for leadership review. Recommend strategies that improve fleet utilization while controlling operating expenses. Vendor & Asset Management Build and maintain productive relationships with maintenance vendors, dealerships, and service providers. Coordinate vehicle purchases, replacements, transfers, and disposal activities. Monitor inventory of fleet equipment, keys, fuel cards, and related assets. Assist with procurement activities supporting fleet operations. Administrative & Operational Support Represent Citadel Security USA professionally when working with employees, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Maintain confidentiality of personnel records, operational information, and fleet documentation. Support emergency vehicle requests and operational changes when business needs require. Perform additional fleet-related administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle for business-related travel. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation operations, or a related field. Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, vehicle lifecycle management, and transportation operations. Experience working with fleet management software, GPS tracking, or telematics platforms. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and motor vehicle record review. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Professional fleet certifications such as CAFM, CPFP, or similar credentials. Experience managing commercial vehicle fleets operating under DOT regulations. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and transportation compliance requirements. Experience analyzing fleet data to improve operational performance and reduce costs. Strong vendor management and contract coordination experience. Work Environment Professional office environment with frequent interaction with field personnel and vendors. Regular travel to company locations, maintenance facilities, and operational sites. Combination of office-based administrative responsibilities and field inspections.
