Clinical Research Assistant (HS)-Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep

Responsible for assisting in support of clinical research studies within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Pulmonary Critical Care with oversight from the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Tasks include implementing and coordinating studies, recruiting participants, conducting behavioral or diagnostic testing, and collecting, maintaining and reporting clinical research data. Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Required No experience required. Desired Experience and Skills 2-4 years of relevant experience. Experience in research capacity. Knowledge or experience in specialty (unspecified). Experience in phlebotomy. Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens. Computer skills with knowledge of database software applications. This is a patient-facing role that requires on-site work in the hospital. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required as dictated by the approved clinical research trial/study. On-call duties may be required based on staffing. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
