Mobile X-ray and EKG Technician

Provides mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other healthcare settings. Delivers clinically diagnostic imaging and patient care while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and process portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) X-ray exams and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
• Unload portable X-ray equipment and transport it to facilities to conduct physician-ordered exams.
• Obtain high-quality, diagnostically accurate X-ray images, maintaining technical proficiency.
• Conduct EKGs when required and transmit data to cardiologists for interpretation.
• Maintain and document exam-related paperwork and billing in accordance with protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management, interacting professionally with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification and valid state license (e.g., California) as required.
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Demonstrate physical capability to push/pull weights of 50-100 lbs, with accommodations as needed.
• Maintain compliance with health requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption documentation.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and imaging.
