License / NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License ARRT Certified in Radiography and CT Current BLS certification Minimum 1 year of CT experience CT Certified Injection Certified Must be comfortable performing X-ray duties when required during the overnight shift Responsibilities Perform CT procedures according to established protocols. Select appropriate kV and mA techniques to obtain quality diagnostic images. Complete daily equipment quality-control and calibration checks . Perform patient injections according to physician orders and prescribed protocols. Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines. Perform quality-control, quality-assurance, and safety testing. Maintain required logs, documentation, charge records, and equipment reports. Maintain and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist interpretation. Order and receive patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses as required. Verify dosage/activity levels before administration. Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
