CT Technologist

Overview CT Technologist role at TieTalent / Adventist Health Portland Imaging and Diagnostic Team. This position involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis, and performing a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Responsibilities Operates CT equipment and produces cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images. Uses PACS and teleradiology to transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records, files and billing information; adheres to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required Computed Tomography (CT): Required (Facility Specific) Organizational Requirements Vaccinations are required as a condition of employment and annually thereafter (measles, mumps, flu, COVID-19 where applicable).
