Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on development, motor skills, and daily living activities. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient growth and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' functional status and identify therapy needs.
  
  
• 
  Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
  
  
• 
  Utilize specialized OT equipment and techniques to facilitate patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately using the EPIC charting system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home programs.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards, including certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active NJ State license or Compact license as an Occupational Therapist.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate BLS certification and pediatric OT experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess EPIC electronic medical record experience.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 1 year of pediatric OT experience.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to float within scope to meet patient care needs.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with agency and state licensing regulations.
