This position is responsible to provide operational and managerial support in of the remediation efforts following a fire, flood or other natural disaster. Main functions will include performing tasks related to personal property cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation, moving and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Manipulate personal property at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Correctly inventory, wrap, package and move personal property to prepare for transport
• Transport personal property to warehouse for cleaning and storage
• Adhere to MSDS recognized standards
• Basic computer skills and coachable on writing estimates
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices

Qualifications

• Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience preferred
• Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required
