Inbound QC Supervisor

Responsibilities Typically manages a single department and/or shift. Manage ongoing ISO‑compliant, cost‑effective manufacture of specific products or sub‑products. Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and material supply. Plan and administer procedures and develop schedules with manpower requirements for assigned areas. Work on problems of diverse scope requiring analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices/policies to select methods and techniques for solutions. Interact regularly with subordinate supervisors, customers, functional peer group managers, and senior management. Assist the Manufacturing Manager to coordinate the activities of a section or department to achieve results in terms of costs, methods and staffing. Manage 2 or more direct reports. Education & Work Experience Requires a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities In‑depth product manufacturing comprehension, including rationales. Solid working knowledge of regulations (ISO, OSHA, employee relations, etc.). Advanced knowledge of manufacturing systems. Understanding of manufacturing costs and influencing factors. Experience with high‑throughput product environments.
