Responsibilities Recruit and train your team on brand, product, and service. Collaborate with staff to exceed daily sales goals and provide an inclusive customer experience. Educate customers and staff on brand values and position on ethics, including animal testing, vegetarian products, handmade cosmetics, and packaging. Analyze metrics and develop business plans to achieve short‑ and long‑term sales goals. Coach staff through development plans and constructive feedback. Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through DEIB trainings and initiatives. Assess staff performance, create action plans, and address engagement issues with empathy. Lead recruitment and selection with equal employment opportunity practices. Maintain shop compliance: time and attendance, breaks, product integrity, respectful workplace, anti‑harassment, health and safety, and budget compliance. Manage inventory, ordering, and waste within budget using reporting tools. Create merchandising plans to improve KPIs and train staff in visual standards. Schedule staff to meet peak demand while ensuring payroll accuracy and staff wellbeing. Qualifications Required: 3‑5 years managing in a retail environment. Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management. Excellent listening and communication skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills. Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends. Preferred: Experience with consultation‑based customer service models. Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback. Track record of advancing retail staff careers. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and other systems. Experience with cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training. Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
