Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will work directly with our residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a supportive environment.

Job Details

• Shift: Days (6 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, every other weekend required
• Contract Length: Initial commitment of 4 weeks with potential to extend
• Average Census: Currently accommodating 48 residents, with a capacity of 80
• Unit Configuration: Two halls with beds evenly distributed

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and document residents' conditions, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning sessions.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Location

This position is located in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, a community with a population of approximately 17,770. The area offers all essential amenities, including retail, dining options, and public transportation services, such as taxis and Uber.
