REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS /2 years Traveler Experience: Not required Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety Certs: ACLS and BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred JOB DETAILS: *THIS IS A NEURO UNIT Ratios: 1:6 Shift: NIGHT 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. 13-26 weeks accepted RTO: 7 days MAX; Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
