The practice You will work on a range of employment defense matters, focusing on wage and hour, PAGA, and class and representative actions. Typical responsibilities include: Defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions Drafting and arguing dispositive and class‑related motions Managing written discovery and e‑discovery in complex cases Taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses Participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation Advising clients on litigation risk and strategy The environment This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, structured to support flexibility and collaboration.
