We are on a mission to make THC convenient, affordable, and fun by making a sessionable THC beverage the same price as a beer or soda. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewed by our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit into anyone's lifestyle. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer.This role will be based in Portland.Reports To: Senior Quality ManagerSummary: The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for managing a small team and executing the master sanitation schedule, as well as ensuring ongoing compliance for 24/7 audit readiness.Responsibilities and DutiesOversees daily task completion of the Sanitation team.Maintains sanitary conditions of the facility, production spaces and equipment.Leads, coaches and provides effective feedback for the Sanitation teamEnsure adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule - items are completed on time and signed off accordingly.Manage chemical inventory, place orders as needed and ensure proper handling procedures are followed to protect employee safetyManage the schedules of the Sanitation team members to ensure the operational needs, as well as daily and weekly tasks are completed.Develop and track KPIs for the sanitation teamEnsure equipment, tools and general facilities maintain cGMP standards at all times.Lead training with the Sanitation team for all workplace and safety topics.Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, cGMPs, SOPs and SSOPs.Observe current working procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvementOversee the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of equipmentAdditional related duties as assigned.Requirements and SkillsAt least 2 years experience working in sanitation in a food manufacturing facilityAt least 1 years experience in a leadership role managing team membersProven ability to write SOPs and SSOPsGFSI, SQF, BRC, Organic, Kosher experienceAble to clearly communicate goals and objectivesStrong organization skills with a detail-oriented mindsetAbility to both follow direction and work autonomouslyAbility to interact positively with co-workers and management, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to operate and troubleshoot Sanitation equipmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with Google suite, Microsoft applications and other technical platformsPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
