People Operations Generalist (Bilingual: English/Spanish)

From our San Ramon engineers to our dedicated field teams and H-2A workers, you ensure every "Beewiser" has the support they need to thrive. The Role: Your Impact We are seeking a driven, bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to join our lean People team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will support the full employee lifecycle across office, warehouse, and field populations throughout the US and Canada. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities People Operations Support new-hire onboarding, including documentation, background checks, swag, I-9 verification, E-Verify, etc. Ensure accurate employee data entry and updates within TriNet. Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employee questions related to HR systems, benefits, and policies. Partner with TriNet and internal Payroll to redirect or help resolve routine timesheet, payroll, benefits, and HRIS inquiries. Maintain employee records in compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Provide onboarding support for office and field employees, as needed, including remote employees. Support H-2A administrative processes in coordination with Operations and external vendors, ensuring documentation accuracy. Assist Head of People with performance management, open enrollment, and system implementations, as directed. Prepare basic HR reports and assist with audits or compliance reviews, as directed. Support the Head of People with special projects and process improvements. Assist with scheduling, sourcing, and coordination of full-cycle recruiting for assigned exempt and non-exempt roles across multiple states. Support Talent Acquisition Lead and hiring managers to document role requirements and hiring timelines. Assist and support TA Lead with posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting initial screens, coordinating (scheduling) interviews, and routing offers for execution. Support the TA Lead in maintaining accurate and compliant candidate data in the ATS. Support TA Lead in building out a new TA system (Spark Hire) including developing recruiting workflows to increase efficiency and consistency. Track recruiting metrics and provide status updates to the Head of People. Under the direction of the TA Lead, coordinate with external agencies, as needed. Qualifications Required: 4+ years of HR Operations or Generalist experience. 2+ years exposure to full employee lifecycle across exempt and non-exempt roles. Working knowledge of I-9 compliance and onboarding processes. 4+ years of experience working with an HRIS or PEO system (TriNet preferred) and an ATS system (Spark Hire preferred). Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish. Proactive, dependable, and hardworking, with a strong sense of integrity and accountability. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, with appropriate guidance. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Familiarity with some multi-state employment basics. Experience supporting field-based or agricultural workforces. Experience recruiting and supporting temp or seasonal labor.
