HVAC Truck Based Tradesmen (union)

Job Overview Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen to service and maintain heavy commercial and industrial equipment. The role involves providing mechanical installation, troubleshooting, warranty support, and proactive solutions to improve building efficiency. Responsibilities Perform mechanical installations and related work under employer direction. Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and building system problems. Respond to basic warranty calls. Communicate job progress and issues to JCI, contractors, and customers. Provide recommendations and solutions for facility optimization, including upselling opportunities. Prepare quotes to support recommendations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with HVAC equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self‑starter with ability to work independently. Valid driver’s license with clean record. Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters. Adherence to company Safety Program. Pay & Benefits Hourly rate of $20.35, determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
