Data Analyst
Our client, a financial company, is looking for a Data Analyst for their Richmond, VA/ McLean, VA location.
Responsibilities:
- Strong focus on SQL and Python, with SQL being the highest priority.
- Analyze large and complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Build/support Python-based automation and data processing.
- Support data validation, quality checks, troubleshooting, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings.
Requirements:
- Prior client experience: Preferred
- Top skills – must have: SQL, Python
- Additional technical skills: Snowflake, AWS
- Preferred skills: Spark/PySpark, Databricks, Tableau, data migration experience; client EMP and On Stream Data
- Soft skills: Strong communication/presentation skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, comfortable with changing priorities
- Data Analyst supporting new work for Mahesh's team.
- Technical environment includes SQL, Python, Snowflake, and AWS, with Spark/PySpark, Databricks, and Tableau preferred
