Barista & Office Assistant

About the Role We're looking for a friendly, dependable part-time Office Barista & Operations Assistant to help start our team's mornings off right at our downtown San Francisco office. A few mornings a week, you'll make great coffee for the team and pitch in on errands and the day-to-day tasks that keep an office running smoothly. This is a great fit for a college student interested in operations, business, or startups who wants hands‑on experience inside a fast-growing company. You'll get a front‑row seat to how a high‑growth team operates, plenty of ownership over your work, and a flexible morning schedule that works around classes. Responsibilities Make and serve coffee for the team in the mornings, keeping the coffee/espresso setup clean, stocked, and ready to go Manage the office snack and beverage program: keep snacks, drinks, and pantry items stocked, organized, and replenished, and restock throughout the morning Take on office‑manager‑style tasks that keep things running, such as receiving and sorting deliveries and mail, maintaining the kitchen and common areas, coordinating with building staff and vendors, and keeping supplies organized Run errands for the office (supply runs, pickups, drop‑offs, and similar). Help set up and tear down for meetings, onsite, and team event Assist with miscellaneous operations and administrative tasks as they come u Be a friendly, reliable presence in the office and help create a great in‑person experience for the team and guests What We're Looking For Prior barista experience is required, with solid espresso fundamentals (dialing in shots, steaming and texturing milk) and the ability to consistently make quality coffee drinks Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent morning schedule, 2–3 days per week (~10‑20 hours/week). Friendly, customer‑first attitude and strong communication skills Organized and proactive, with the ability to juggle a few different tasks and take initiatiave Comfortable working on‑site in our downtown San Francisco offi Able to run errands around the city as needed Nice to Have Experience with specialty or third‑wave coffee, latte art, or alternative brew methods Previous experience in a customer‑facing, hospitality, retail, or office/administrative r Currently enrolled college student, ideally interested in operations, business, or a related area.
